The new Council of the CPBS held their first meeting last night in Ballinasloe. Tom MacLochlainn remains on as President. Jim Mullaney was re-elected as Vice-President. Philip Morgan was elected as Finance Officer and Jerry Mahon was elected as Human Resources Officer. It was agreed to put four sub committees in place, Breeding and Inspection Committee, Show and Grounds Committee, Marketing and Education Committee, and Performance and International Committee. Each Council member spoke about their vision for the Society and Council members will be elected to sub committees at the January Council meeting.
