The IPS National awards ceremony will be held tonight, 3rd January at Killashee House Hotel, Naas, where two Connemara ponies will be presented with CPBS sponsored cheques and rosettes. The winner of the Aran Bobby trophy, - which is the highest placed Connemara in the Open Working Hunter, -who will be awarded with a cheque for €150 and rosette from the CPBS is; Cahanagh Prince, by Westside Mirah ex Cahanaghs Princess, owned by Des O’Sullivan from Pallas Green, Co. Limerick, and ridden by Alan O’Sullivan. The top placed Ridden Connemara which has attained the most points in 2013, and will receive a cheque for €100 and rosette from the CPBS goes to Derrymore Paddy Finn by Cloonisle Cashel ex Goodbye my Love. He is owned by Philippa Mansergh-Wallace from Tipperary, and ridden by Esme Mansergh-Wallace. We would like to congratulate the winners, in this our first year of sponsoring at the IPS, and wish them continued success, also we hope to get presentation photographs and photographs of the ponies in action, to put up on our website as soon as possible.
